You may be wondering what the heck Don't Stop The Carnival, Kinja and the Gull Reef Club are all about.

It all begins with Don't Stop The Carnival, a very funny adventure story written by Herman Wouk about a
couple from New York who decide to move to the Caribbean and open a hotel....something we have always wanted to do!

Kinja is an imaginary island in the Caribbean where the story unfolds (much like the stories aboard our boat!).

Ah, and the Gull Reef Club....well, you will have to read the book to figure that one out !

Time to go

After cruising over 2,000 miles it is time to put Kinja on the hard for the hurricane season.  We are leaving the boat at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor on Virgin Gorda Island in the British Virgin Islands.

Ready to be hauled out..

We are staying at the Little Dix Bay Resort for our last few days before we head back to NYC.  It is a really wonderful resort.

We finally found the PERFECT margarita.  It turns out that Sir Paul McCartney was here a few months ago and taught Glen how to make it his way----

-- two ounces of Tequila
-- one ounce Quantro
-- juice of one half of a lime
-- juice of one half an orange

Glen, Paul's personal bartender...

What a way to end our cruise this year.....

See you later.....

At the Bitter End on Virgin Gorda there is this place called Saba Rock.  It is a very small island....

One night at Saba Rock, our new friends from Canada took over the bar...It was one of those nights where  "You had to be there"....

Ok, the pirate show at Leverick Bay is what it is....
